Deer Harbour Resident at the White House!

Thank you Roland for your service!!Roland Scheck, DH resident, is third from the left. He was in attendance for Lt. Colonel Kettles receiving the Medal of Honor. Roland was a gunner on a helicopter. His injury came about during this historical event. Lt. Colonel Kettles was his commanding officer. 
From the White House press release: "A soldier never leaves his comrades behind." Almost 50 years ago, U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Charles Kettles heroically rescued 44 Americans under fire while serving in Vietnam.
